Joel Hatch Owner, Overlord and Head Trainer
Why: I enjoy the metamorphosis from weak and disengaged to strong, aware, and responsible.
How: Years of scholastic work, coaching, lifting, attending seminars, writing, and more coaching.
When: I opened Bomber Athlete in June of 2010.
How Long: I began helping (some might say abusing) the weak, broken and disenfranchised in 2004.
Passion: Ultra Running and being in the mountains. Lately I’ve been rather obsessed with running in the Grand Canyon and around the Tetons. Once a long time ago, I played soccer competitively and climbed mountains with sharp pointy spikes.
Influences: Gym Jones, Whole 9, Catalyst Athletics, Robb Wolf, Chris Spealler, and K-Star.
Family: Yep, Kathryn Hatch, wife extraordinaire and William “Porter” Hatch – musical prodigy round out his family unit.
Eliot Reynolds
Eliot is strong, come on, do you really need to know anything else!
I first met Eliot in 2007 or so, when he was the assistant women’s basketball coach for Weber State University and I ran the Performance Program for he Human Performance Center. Eliot willingly let me torture him for a few years and in the summer of 2010 when I opened Bomber Athlete I hired him to save my sanity.
Besides being strong, Eliot is tall and that somehow made him “good” at basketball in high school and college.
Currently Eliot enjoys wearing tight-fitting clothing and pedaling a ridiculously expensive bike (okay any bike over $600 is expensive to me) very fast. Other hobbies include Pickle Ball, coaching basketball, Turkish Get Ups, a clean gym, and long walks on the beach with his best gal.
